Biography

Magdalena Köchl moves confidently between theatre, film, music performance and the development of her own original works. After completing her acting studies in New York City, she has established herself as a versatile artist - as an actress, singer and producer with a contemporary, interdisciplinary approach.

As a founding member of the theatre collective Theater Chronos, she combines international tour experience with the creation of independent, self-devised stage formats. Her work is distinctly shaped by influences from Berlin’s independent theatre scene, her hometown of Salzburg and her training in New York City - direct, minimalistic and artistically precise.

Following her solo success in Prima Facie she once again demonstrates her strong stage presence and refined artistic control in her new project Ultimate Dream Scenario - both in her singing and her acting.
