Biography

Magdalena Köchl is an actress and singer currently living in between Berlin and Salzburg.

She was born in Darmstadt, Germany and raised in Salzburg, Austria where she became a consistent part of the youth ensemble at the Salzburg State Theatre. Early on she also starred in multiple independent theatre productions in and around Salzburg while continuously performing as a singer.

In 2019 she then moved to New York City to study acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in the graduating class of '22. After successfully completing her studies she returned to Europe to start touring through Austria, Germany, Sweden and Italy as Irina Arkadina in *enters with a gun and a dead seagull*.

She is currently producing her third independent theater production Prima Facie opening in March while spending her summer on set for Die Liesl von der Post.

Magdalena is one of the founding members of the theatre company Theater Chronos.
